Green Bean Caesar


                                        Green Bean Caesar

  1 1/2 lbs. fresh green beans, preferably Roma but any variety will do.

  (2 pkgs frozen beans can be substituted if fresh are not available.)

  4 T. vegetable oil.  (Canola)

  2 T. wine vinegar.

  2 T. instant, minced onions.

  1/2 tsp. salt.

  1/4 tsp. pepper.

  1 clove garlic, crushed.

  4 T. Four Seasons, (4C) Flavored Bread Crumbs.

  4 T. grated Parmesan cheese.

  2 T. butter, melted.

  Paprika to taste.


  Nip ends off and cut beans into one inch pieces.  Cook beans until almost

  tender.  Drain, put in bowl and toss with oil, vinegar, onion, salt, garlic &

  pepper.  Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. casserole.  

  Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and melted butter and sprinkle over

  beans and then sprinkle with paprika to taste.  Bake uncovered in a 350

  degree, pre-heated oven until heated through, (15 to 20 minutes).
